Miss Potato Head

Rag Quilt

Avi took a couple of BIG naps this weekend and I was able to complete a project. I made 2 rag quilts, one for our coming little boy (Oct. 27th) and one for a friend who is also having a boy due to arrive 2 days after ours. It felt really good to be doing something creative again and I hope to keep sewing on a regular basis.

We recently went down south to visit the fam, and all the sisters got together for a photo (Chris, Nat, Liz & Leyla) on the way back home we stopped in the desert to take a quick break and Avi made a call on her tinkerbell cell phone. That night we had dinner at some friends house and Avi got to visit with the horses and play in the creek. She was exhausted that night.

We have been having so much fun lately! The weather has been beautiful and we got to go swimming at the local hot springs pool. I have put a few of our most recent pics. Avi's favorite toy right now is the shoe basket, she can hang out over there for the longest time just taking shoes in and out and playing with the laces. Her other obsession is the camelback, after she goes on a hike she loves to drink out of the camelback. I also put up a picture of her new smile, I think she likes to show off her teeth.
